New Rag dolls

Samantha and I had fun making some new rag dolls this weekend, Jessica on the left, Grace in the middle ( I just love the ribbon on her dress), and Samantha's doll Amber on the right, she likes sparkly things, Can you tell? Typical 9 year old.

Today finds me playing with my other favorite kind of dolls at the other end of the spectrum, the Resin Ball Jointed Dolls, these particular ones are made by my favorite doll artist and friend, Berdine Creedy. The little cutie above is Hugs, playing with her favorite toys.

Next is Uniti, looking like Tinkerbell, isn't she cute?

The fabulous Princess Charlene, She was the Exclusive doll from the Goodreau/ Creedy Convention 2009.

Gorgeous Harmoni, looking sweet with her new outfit by Michele Hardy and green Gumdrop eyes.

Last but not least is mischievious Destini, She always looks like she is up to something!

The guys in my life....

My main man, my wonderful husband, Michael, and our precious dogs, Chelsea, Fletcher, Abby, and Susie.

This is Samantha's favorite guy in her life, her birthday present, Manny, the perfect little bay pony, he really is gold! We love him!

Today was such a busy day but not with dolls, it was with the other guy in my life , Marty, my gorgeous Appaloosa. We are both being "trained" and hopefully doing well with it!

New Dresses

This is Harmony, She is a Charming 16 in Waldorf Doll made by DragonFly's Hollow. She is wearing a dress that I made a couple of days ago, with Peter Pan buttons, that I purchased from a wonderful Etsy store called " Once Upon A Button".

My daughter, Samantha, and I are learning how to sew, we are enjoying making our own little ragdolls and sewing for our growing collection of Waldorf dolls, Our favorites are made by Dragonfly's Hollow, Moonchild Studio, and Bamboletta. The next picture shows little Harmony again, along with Sweet Meadow, made by Moonchild Studio. They are modeleling jumpers that I attempted to make last night. I think that they turned out pretty well since I had to create my own pattern.

The Beginning

Hi there,

This is the beginning of my Blog, I just created it as an outlet for my passions and interests and plus I love to post pics of the things that I have been doing. I am learning to sew and I am greatly enjoying this creative endeavor. I love sewing for Waldorf dolls, plus the dolls that I am learning to sew myself. Also you will find here, other intersts of mine, such as my horses and dogs, reading, travel adventures and of course, my glorious family!
